Besides being a wonderful outdoor classroom for our students, the Holmes “Little Buds” Garden also has a certified Monarch Waystation. Thanks to efforts by our garden volunteers and students, the garden will be a rest stop for migrating monarch butterflies. Lifetouch Picture Retake Day will take place on Wednesday, October 28 from 9:30-11:00am. Please notify your student’s classroom teacher to arrange a time for the retake. Students should bring the original picture (keep the classroom picture) back to school on the day of retakes.

This program, co-sponsored by DAEG and Darien elementary schools, encourages students to play math games at home with parents, siblings and friends daily for two weeks: October 5-18.
