Please help us honor Veterans who are part of the Holmes School family on November 11th at 9:30 am in the Common Room. We welcome any veterans who are friends or family of Holmes School students to attend the program. If you know of a Veteran who would like to attend please sign them up so that we can recognize them during the program. Please register by turning in the attached sign-up form. to the office by November 7th or sign up via the google link provided in the H2H newsletter.
Holmes School will also be honoring our Veterans with our annual WALL OF HONOR with pictures of Veterans from our Holmes School Community. If you have a Veteran in your family or have a family friend who served please complete a poster! The format for the poster is attached.
5th Grade Writing Prompt Due November 7th –
Please write a few paragraphs that demonstrate your gratitude and respect for Veterans in our community and across our country. You may write either a short story, poem, or a few paragraphs to be considered for sharing at the performance for the Veterans on Nov. 11.
