Requirements: care about the environment, and be willing to learn about recycling, plastic pollution and local environmental issues. This year’s campaign is called SKIP THE STRAW.
Co-Chair responsibilities include: help coordinating parent volunteers to assist with recycling at lunchtime for Trash-Free Tuesdays, communicating this year’s theme during lunch, assisting with decorating bulletin board in cafeteria, assisting with lunchtime visits during lunchtime once a week in Oct. & Nov. and once per month thereafter. During Earth Week, coordinate parent volunteers to assist with the Garbage Art Museum, and assist with a short presentation for Earth Day whole school assembly.
