Parents are invited to our monthly Coffee with the Principal on Wednesday, October 5 at 9:15 am in the Common Room. This is a short, informal meeting where parents can “drop in” and chat with Mrs. Bleakley about educational topics related to Holmes School. Meet in the Common Room from 9:15-10AM.
Don’t forget our annual Walk-a-Thon is this Friday! Students, faculty and parents are invited to walk during their grade’s scheduled time as noted below. Please remember to turn in pledge forms on or before Friday. Scheduled Times: Grade 5 – 10:00-10:30am. Grade 4 – 10:30-11am. Grade 3 – 12:25-12:55pm. Grade 1 – 1:15-1:45pm. Grade 2 – 2:00-2:30pm. Kindergarten – 2:30-3:00pm.
Thanks to all the parent volunteers, including our Family Activity Chairs Ellyn Coyne and Sally Betz, for organizing such a fun Back-to-School Picnic! Families enjoyed a beautiful evening socializing, eating pizza, dancing and doing the conga line (see picture)!
