National program A Better Chance in Darien (ABC) helps to recruit academically motivated students of color from urban areas and place them in high schools around the country. Local non-profit ABC in Darien is in its 37th year and has been able to graduate 48 girls from the Darien High School. Pat Cage, co-president of ABC in Darien, is looking for parent volunteers to become ABC board members and/or be a host family. Please see this attachment for more information.
