PUBLICITY
Use both traditional (print media/newspapers) & social media to promote our Holmes school both in town and within our community.
Ensure that the Holmes School news, events, and activities are represented in the Darien newspapers by preparing Holmes-related stories and providing photos to the local papers on a weekly basis.
Take photos of school programs, enrichment programs, classroom activities, special events, and academic and non-academic activities, including after school programs, music/art/physical education programs, and field trips.
Responsible for approving student pictures with school office before submitting or posting to any outlet
Maintain the publicity PTO bulletin board and coordinate content and pictures with webmaster committee for Holmes School PTO Website.
Time Commitment
Moderate. Needs to be available to cover events during the school day. Consistent, weekly work. Good for those interested in journalism, publicity and has skills to manage social media accounts
