PARENT AWARENESS
The%20YWCA%20Parent%20Awareness%20Network%20is%20a%20family%20focused%20program%20that%20provides%20support%20and%20education%20to%20parents%20and%20children%20in%20order%20to%20encourage%20the%20healthy%2C%20positive%20development%20of%20Darien%20Youth%20and%20families.
Work%20with%20parents%20from%20all%20seven%20public%20schools%20in%20Darien%20in%20addition%20to%20a%20few%20private%20schools%2C%20the%20Director%20of%20the%20Youth%20Task%20Force%20%26%20The%20Depot%20through%20YWCA%20to%20coordinate%20free%2C%20timely%20and%20useful%20presentations%20from%20specific%20professionals%20on%20age-appropriate%20topics%20for%20school%20parents.
Must%20be%20able%20to%20meet%20monthly%20for%20meetings%20on%20Wednesdays%20%2810%3A30%20am%20%E2%80%93%2012%3A00%20pm%29%20to%20discuss%20upcoming%20and%20past%20presentations%20and%20give%20ideas%20for%20future%20speakers.

Time Commitment
One meeting and one presentation each month on average (typically none in December or June). Good for parents with children of any age
Number of volunteers needed: 2
