Research%20and%20arrange%20high%20quality%20programs%20that%20enhance%20the%20school%20curriculum%20to%20provide%20an%20enriching%20experience%20for%20students.%20Enrichment%20activities%20take%20place%20during%20the%20school%20day%20and%20reinforce%20the%20curriculum.
Work%20with%20principal%20and%20teachers%20to%20determine%20enrichment%20opportunities.
Schedule%20all%20activities%2C%20act%20as%20liaison%20with%20programs%2C%20attend%20all%20events%2C%20manage%20evaluation%20of%20programs%20and%20arrange%20payment%20to%20the%20programs%2Fperformers.
Attend%20PTO%20meetings%20and%20town-wide%20school%20enrichment%20meetings%20for%20sharing%20of%20ideas
Maintain%20the%20Enrichment%20Section%20of%20the%20PTO%20bulletin%20board
Enrichment%20chair%20serves%20on%20Executive%20Board
Time Commitment
Moderate. Active throughout the year; long-range planning is essential. Good for former teachers and those who are interested in the school’s curriculum.
Number of volunteers needed: 2 chairs and ideally one representative from each grade
