On November 24, Patrick Garner, through TheatreWorks USA, performed Ben Franklin, America’s First Citizen for all of our Holmes students. The students learned about Ben Franklin’s early years, his love of books and thirst for knowledge, and all of his greatest accomplishments. They even got to experience what it was like to take part in a “bucket brigade”, as they learned that Franklin started the first volunteer fire fighting brigade in Philadelphia! The 45 minute show truly helped to bring a famous historical figure to life.
