In time for Earth Day, 3rd graders had a chance to experience the “Earth Balloon”. It was a special experience (see slide show)! They had a chance to sit inside an inflated globe and learn more about our planet. They discussed geography as well as several environmental issues, including the problem of trash accumulating in our oceans and its negative impact on marine life.
